Governor Andy Beshear will be in Russell County this afternoon as he makes an appearance at the Lake Cumberland Area Development District Office in Russell Springs.
The governor will be announcing funding for Cleaner Water programs in Russell and nearby counties around 12:30 pm at the ADD office.
The Cleaner Water Program, a grant program to improve drinking water and wastewater, is part of the $1.3 billion Building a Better Kentucky Plan, which the governor says will create 14,500 jobs delivering clean drinking water, expanding broadband and building new schools.
