Russell Springs Fire Dept. crews and local law enforcement responded to a mobile home fire off Highway 1729 last night.
Firefighters were called out at around 7:30 p.m. to the residence at 541 KY 1729 belonging to Teresa Hammond after a neighbor called dispatch to report seeing smoke coming from the home. The caller reported that nobody was inside the residence at the time.
Fire crews were on scene for a little more than an hour. Russell Springs Fire Chief Bobby Johnson said the home sustained minor damage, but there were no injuries.
Johnson told WJRS News the cause of the fire is currently under investigation.
