Russell County man arrested on drug, assault charges

A Russell County man was arrested on drug possession and assault charges Wednesday evening.

According to jail records, Paul E. Mills, age 54, was arrested and charged with assault fourth degree and possession of methamphetamine.

Mills was arrested by Deputy Golden with the Russell County Sheriff’s Office and lodged in the Russell County Detention Center just before 7 p.m. Wednesday.
