The Russell County Middle School Lakers swept Hart County Thursday night.
The 6th graders won by a score of 24-7, with Will Coffey leading the scoring with 8 points followed by Bentley Rankins with 6, Connor Davidson with 5, Luke Walters with 3, and Christian Williams with 2 points.
In the 7th grade game, the Lakers were victorious by a score of 43-22. Tyson Stille led the scoring with 18 points, followed by Gabe Browning with 12, Cameron Bolin with 6, Tanner Stringer with 4, Jameson Irvin with 2, and Mannix Bell with 1 point.
In the 8th grade game, the Lakers came out on top by a score of 52-14. Walker Stephens led the scoring with 10 points, followed by Dylan Stanelle with 7, Kinnett Wills, Maddox Shearer, and Bryson Irvin with 6 each; Webber Wilson with 5, Noah Bennett and Max Davis with 4 points each, and Noah McMillin and Carter Stapp each with 2 points.
