The Russell County Middle School Boys basketball teams kicked off their season with victories on the road at Cumberland County Tuesday.
The 8th grade team won 56-47 with Max Davis leading the team in scoring with 14, followed by Dylan Stanelle and Noah McMillin with 10 each.
The 7th grade team won 41-27 with Alex Norton scoring 14, Tyson Stille scoring 11, and Mannix Bell adding 6 points.
The 6th grade team came away with a huge 51-2 victory over the Panthers, as Myles Davis led the way with 24 points and Will Coffey added 8.
