Fire crews from Russell Springs and Jamestown Fire Departments responded to a fire at Laker Lanes Bowling Alley in Key Village Tuesday evening around 5 p.m.
The fire began in the kitchen area of the bowling alley and was contained there, according to Russell Springs Fire Chief H.M. Bottom.
Nobody was in the building when the fire started, as staff at the business had left for a short time.
The building sustained smoke and water damage, but the full extent of the damage was not yet known at time of writing.
Russell County EMS and the Russell Springs Police also responded to the scene.
