The Russell County Lady Laker Volleyball team opened its season with a 3-1 win at Adair County on Monday.
The Lady Indians took the first set 25-21, but Russell County bounced back and took the next three 25-14, 25-17, and 25-22 to come away with the victory in the season opener.
The Lady Lakers will host their home opener tonight against Wayne County, with the match beginning at 6 p.m.
