An inmate who escaped from the Clinton County Jail Tuesday afternoon was back in custody less than 15 minutes later.
Jacob Morgan escaped around 1:45 p.m. and was apprehended by Albany Police officers a short time later.
Morgan was returned to the jail and faces additional charges of second-degree escape and fleeing or evading police on foot.
Police also applied for an arrest warrant for an Albany man they allege assisted Morgan by allowing him inside his residence.
Additional details are expected to be released after a judge issues the warrant and an arrest is made.
