Frederick Earl “Billy” Riley, Sr., 83, of Jamestown

Frederick Earl (Billy) Riley, Sr., 83, of Jamestown, KY passed away Friday, October 2nd, at his residence.

Frederick was born in Jackson, Mississippi on August 7, 1943, a son of the late Bertha (Smith) and James Riley.

He was a member of Holy Spirit Catholic Church, served in the United States Army, was a retired senior sales representative at 3M, and was President of Lily Creek HOA.

His wife — Linda (Wooldridge) Riley, of Jamestown, KY

One daughter — Sherri Riley Jordan, of Michigan

Three sons — Frederick E. Riley and Timothy Riley, both of Kentucky; Eric Riley, of Michigan

Four sisters — Jackolyn Cox, of Ohio; Linda Ringer, of Ohio; Janette Elsberry, of Michigan; Kimberly Riley, of North Carolina.

Six brothers – Kenneth, Gerald, Craig, Christopher and Jeffery Riley, all of Ohio; Steven Riley, of Illinios

He is also survived by 10 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren

He is preceded in death by his parents, and brothers, Charles, Gerald, Kevin, Courtney and Russell Riley.

Friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial at Holy Spirit Catholic Church in Jamestown, KY, on Friday October 9th, 11:00 a.m.

Public visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m. on Friday, October 9th at Holy Spirit Catholic Church.

Burial will be in the Mill Springs National Cemetery, Nancy, KY, with full military honors by the Russell County Honor Squad.

The family request memorial contributions be made to Hospice of Lake Cumberland. These can be made at the church.
