The Adair County Sheriff’s Department responded to 818 calls to 911 during September, according to a monthly activity report released by Sheriff Gary Roy.
Deputies served 38 arrest warrants, opened five criminal cases and issued 14 citations for criminal activity. The department also worked 12 domestic abuse cases and investigated 20 accidents.
Other activities included serving 72 civil process papers, 12 criminal summonses and 52 subpoenas.
Deputies provided 280 hours of court security and completed nine out-of-county transports.
The report also lists 22 animal complaints and 15 motorist assists during the month.
