The Russell Springs City Council will hold its regular monthly meeting this evening at 6 o’clock at Russell Springs City Hall. The meeting is open to the public.
Council members are scheduled to consider approval of the previous meeting minutes, cash disbursements and financial statements before moving into new business.
Among the items on tonight’s agenda are presentation of the Anchor Award, a Walk-Bike Plan presentation, and consideration of a resolution related to Local Assistance Road Program funding.
The council is also expected to enter executive session under Kentucky Revised Statute 61.810(1)(b) to discuss the possible acquisition or sale of real property, where public discussion could affect the value of the property.
The meeting will also include reports from the Russell Springs Fire Chief Bobby Johnson, Police Chief Bryan Shepherd, Economic Development Director Jeramy Coffey and Mayor Eddie Thomas before adjournment.
