Jo Elva Flatt, 88, of Jamestown, passed away Friday, July 17th, at Fair Oaks Health Systems.
Jo Elva was born in Jamestown, KY on January 16, 1938, a daughter of the late Beulah (Helm) and Bradley Carnes. She was a member of Jamestown Christian Church, was a homemaker, loving mother and grandmother.
Jo Elva is survived by three daughters: Darlinda Flatt (Billy), of Jamestown. KY; Lee Robin Parrott (Bill), of Barbourville. KY; Vanessa Dudgeon, of Jamestown, KY.
Three sisters: Margaret Grider (J.R.), and Shirley Hopper, both of Louisville, KY; Linda Helm, of Jamestown, KY.
She is also survived by 6 grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her parents, brother Ben Carnes, son-in-law Danny Dudgeon, 2 brothers-in-law Roger Hopper and Russell Helm.
Funeral Service will be held 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, July 21st at H. E. Pruitt Memory Chapel in Jamestown, KY with Bro. Jason Walters officiating.
Public visitation will be held 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, July 21st at H. E. Pruitt Memory Chapel in Jamestown, KY.
Burial in the Jamestown Cemetery.
