Gary Veston Grider, age 77, of Russell Springs, KY passed away Tuesday, July 28, 2026 at V. A. Hospital – Lexington. He was a retired iron worker and a Veteran of the United States Army. Military honors will be performed by the Russell County Honor Guard.
He was born on Saturday, October 16, 1948, in Russell County, Kentucky.
Survivors include:
Two sons: Timothy Bair, spouse Nichole, of Russell Springs KY.
Jason Bair, spouse Stephanie (deceased), of Russell Springs KY.
He is also survived by five grandchildren, Erin, Elizabeth, Olivia, Nikki and Brandon Bair and one great-grandson, Elijah Byrd.
He was the son of:
Mother – Elgie Irene Coffey Grider, who has preceded him in death
Father – Tandy Veston Grider, who has preceded him in death
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Janice Grider.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, July 31, 2026 at Wilson Funeral Home, 391 East Steve Wariner Drive, Russell Springs, KY.
Visitation will begin at 5:00 p.m. Thursday, July 30, 2026 at the funeral home.
Interment will be in Poplar Grove Cemetery, North Highway 127, Russell Springs, KY.
