Russell County’s 10U All-Stars are bringing another state championship home

The Russell County Lakers captured the 2026 Cal Ripken Western Kentucky 10U State Championship with a hard-fought victory over Elizabethtown, capping off an impressive tournament run against one of the toughest fields in the state.

The young Lakers earned the title through determination, resilience, and strong team play, adding another championship to Russell County’s growing baseball tradition. The victory also marks the program’s third Western Kentucky 10U State Championship in the past four years.

Players, coaches, and families are all being recognized for their commitment and dedication throughout the season, culminating in a memorable championship performance.

Congratulations to the 2026 Cal Ripken Western Kentucky 10U State Champion Russell County Lakers on an outstanding achievement and another proud moment for Laker baseball.
