The U.S. Marshals Service is asking for the public’s help in locating a Tennessee murder suspect believed to have recently been in south-central Kentucky.
The U.S. Marshals Service Middle Tennessee Fugitive Task Force is searching for 38-year-old Jesse Wayne Phillips, who is wanted by the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation on a charge of second-degree murder.
Authorities say Phillips is accused of shooting and killing a man in Pall Mall, Tennessee. Investigators report that Phillips was last known to be in Clinton County, Kentucky, on May 28th.
Officials say Phillips has an extensive violent criminal history and should be considered armed and dangerous. He is described as a white male with brown hair and brown eyes, standing 5 feet 10 inches tall and weighing approximately 225 pounds.
A reward of up to $5,000 is being offered for information that leads to Phillips’ arrest.
Anyone with information on his whereabouts is urged not to approach him. Instead, call 9 1 1 or contact the U.S. Marshals Service at 1-877-WANTED-2.
