Two people were arrested over the weekend in Adair County by Kentucky State Police.
According to jail records, 23-year-old Malaya Nicole Seacat of Milltown, Indiana, was taken into custody on several charges, including DUI, speeding, reckless driving, following another vehicle too closely, changing drivers while a vehicle is in motion, possession of heroin, and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Records also show 35-year-old Zacary Wayne Smith of Monett, Missouri, was arrested on charges of DUI, first-degree wanton endangerment, reckless driving, and volatile substance abuse.
Both Seacat and Smith were lodged in the Adair County Regional Jail.
