A local teenager died as the result of a two-vehicle collision in Adair County Friday morning.
WJRS News is told the victim is 17-year-old Natalie Wilson of Russell County.
Kentucky State Police say it happened around 10:30 Friday morning on Highway 206. They say Wilson was traveling west on Highway 206 in a 2019 Chevy Equinox when she crossed the center line and entered the eastbound lane into the path of a 2007 Terex C13 concrete truck operated by 22-year-old Curtis Bell of Columbia.
Wilson was transported to TJ Samson Columbia Hospital, where she was pronounced deceased by the Adair County Coroner’s Office. Bell was not injured during the collision.
The accident remains under investigation by Kentucky State Police.
