Russell County native Nathan Lawson made his professional baseball debut this week with the Florence Y’alls, a professional baseball team based out of Florence, Kentucky.
Lawson, who played collegiately at Eastern Kentucky University and Western Kentucky University following his career at Russell County High School, pitched two scoreless innings and picking up his first professional strikeout in his debut for Florence.
