Russell County High School is welcoming several new faces to its staff for the upcoming school year.
School officials have announced the hiring of Jordan Turner as the new head principal, Brandon Cooper as assistant principal, and Joy Shearer as guidance counselor. The school is also adding two new teachers, with Ben Hammond joining the faculty as computer science teacher and Zoey Little serving as the new social studies teacher.
Administrators say the additions strengthen both the school’s leadership team and classroom instruction as students prepare to return for a new academic year. The new hires bring experience in educational leadership, student services, and classroom teaching, helping support Russell County High School’s continued focus on student success.
