Lakefest 2026 Set for July 3-4 in Jamestown

The City of Jamestown is getting ready to celebrate Independence Day with its annual Lakefest Celebration, set for Friday, July 3rd and Saturday, July 4th.

Festivities kick off on Friday evening with the Lakefest Beauty Pageants at 5 p.m., followed by Triple Crown Wrestling at 8:30 p.m.

The celebration continues bright and early on Saturday with Breakfast in the Park and the official Opening Ceremony beginning at 7 a.m. Runners will take to the streets at 7:30 for the Lakefest 5K and 10K Run, while the Antique Tractor and Car Show will be held from 8 a.m. until 1 p.m.

Other family-friendly activities throughout the day include a Pet Show at 9 a.m., Children’s Games and the Patriotic Parade at 10 a.m., a Cornhole Tournament at 11 a.m., and a Talent Show at noon. Karaoke in the Park begins at 1:30 p.m., followed by a performance from Flashback Theater at 3:30.

Live entertainment takes center stage Saturday evening with The ’77 Experience, celebrating the hits of 1977, at 5 p.m. The Return: The All Eras Beatles Experience performs at 7 p.m., followed by the traditional Wreath Ceremony at 8 p.m.

Country music fans can enjoy Family Tradition, a Hank Williams Jr. tribute act, beginning at 9 p.m., before the celebration concludes with a fireworks display lighting up the skies over Jamestown at 10:30 p.m.

City officials invite residents and visitors alike to come out and enjoy two days of family fun, entertainment, and patriotic celebration during Lakefest 2026 in downtown Jamestown.
