KSP Arrests Eubank Man in Child Exploitation Case

A Pulaski County man has been arrested following a Kentucky State Police child exploitation investigation.

Thirty-seven-year-old Samuel Reed Jones was taken into custody Tuesday afternoonafter an undercover Internet Crimes Against Children investigation by KSP’s Electronic Crime Branch.

Investigators say they discovered Jones allegedly uploading sexually explicit images of juveniles through a social media account. A search warrant was executed at a residence in Eubank, where electronic equipment was seized for forensic examination.

Jones is charged with two counts of possessing matter portraying a minor under the age of 12 in a sexual performance, a Class C felony punishable by five to ten years in prison.

He is being held in the Pulaski County Detention Center. The investigation remains ongoing.
