Several people were arrested over the weekend by the Russell County Sheriff’s Office and Russell Springs Police Department.
Early Saturday morning, Deputy Devin Blakey arrested 38-year-old Thomas Davis of Hodgenville during a traffic stop. Davis was charged with reckless driving, possession of methamphetamine, marijuana, and drug paraphernalia.
Saturday afternoon, Russell Springs Police Officer Brandon Bullock arrested 81-year-old Roger Castle of Russell Springs following a domestic violence investigation. Castle is charged with first-degree assault after allegedly stabbing a female victim with a screwdriver. The victim was treated at Russell County Hospital.
Later Saturday, Deputy Stone Bolin arrested 20-year-old Christopher King of Russell Springs on charges including DUI, reckless driving, wanton endangerment, possession of a controlled substance, expired registration, and having an open alcoholic beverage in a vehicle.
Around 3 o’clock Sunday morning, Officer Chris Tweedy arrested 25-year-old Mendiola Herrera of Russell Springs, charging Herrera with DUI, no operator’s license, disorderly conduct, and criminal littering.
All four were lodged in the Russell County Detention Center.
