The Clinton County Fair is gearing up for ten days of exhibits, pageants, rides, food, and motorsports begins tomorrow, continuing through June 20 at the Clinton County Fairgrounds in Albany.
Fair activities kick off Thursday, June 11, with exhibit hall drop-off from 9 to 11 a.m. and public viewing from 1 to 4:30 p.m. Exhibit viewing continues Friday morning, June 12, with pickup and cash-out scheduled from 11 a.m. until noon. Those events will take place at the Clinton County Extension Office
The fair officially opens Saturday, June 13, with a full day of activities, including FFA events, a 4-H pet show, a baby show, and an evening horse show. Admission is free for the FFA events and pet show, while a five-dollar admission fee will be charged for the baby show and horse show.
Sunday, June 14, features free admission and the sixth annual Car and Truck Show from 2 until 4 p.m.
Pageant week begins Monday, June 15, with gates opening at 2 p.m. A ten-dollar admission fee will be charged. Events include the Fair Food Extravaganza, the Little Miss and Mister Clinton County Fair Pageant, the Sparkling Stars Pageant, and the Miss PreTeen Clinton County Fair competition.
Tuesday, June 16, is Family Night with all rides included in the ten-dollar gate admission. The Miss Clinton County Fair and Miss Teen Clinton County Fair pageants will take place that evening.
Motorsports fans can enjoy the ATV Rodeo on Wednesday, June 17. Admission is thirty dollars per carload, with all rides included.
Professional wrestling comes to the fairgrounds Thursday, June 18, with a ten-dollar gate admission that includes rides.
The popular KOTTPA Truck Pull, J&M Go-Cart Racing, and a tractor giveaway highlight Friday, June 19. Admission is fifteen dollars and includes rides.
The fair concludes Saturday, June 20, with the annual Demolition Derby beginning at 7 p.m. Admission is fifteen dollars and includes all rides.
