Jamestown Elementary School was the recipient of a $25,000 grant from the Casey’s Cash for Classrooms program.
Jamestown Elementary Principal Zach Smith said the funds will be used to purchase a variety of student-centered technology, as well as classroom technology that will provide greater access to hands-on learning for students. The funds also aim to add new educational tools for teachers in the classroom.
Smith said he was thankful for the school’s continued partnership with the local Casey’s store for their support and commitment to education.
