Excused in-person voting for the primary election gets underway at the Russell County Courthouse.
Excused in-person voting will be available today, tomorrow and Friday at the Russell County Clerk’s Office, as well as next Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday. This will be available from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.
This is for voters who have a valid excuse for not being able to vote on Election Day or during the no-excuse early voting. Those who wish to vote during this period will be required to fill out a form explaining their reason.
This includes voters who will be absent from the county during the early voting period and Election Day, as well as other factors such as age, disability, or illness.
