Columbia man arrested on Tuesday morning

A Columbia man was arrested Tuesday morning by Kentucky State Police.

49-year-old Alan Cape was arrested and charged with possession of a controlled substance third degree – drug unspecified, operating a motor vehicle under the influence of a controlled substance – third offense, reckless driving, speeding 26 mph or more over the limit, and multiple other charges.

Cape was lodged in the Russell County Detention Center at around 10:20 a.m. Tuesday.
