Work is continuing on the Russell County Hospital expansion project.
Hospital CEO Scott Thompson shared updates on the expansion project with WJRS News.
Plans for the expansion/renovation include nearly doubling the size of the current facility. This includes a new emergency room, new equipment, a new registration space, more office space, and more parking, among many other improvements.
