The Russell Springs City Council will meet in special session Thursday morning.
The council is expected to hold the first reading of an ordinance establishing a policy for the lowering and display of flags on city-owned property.
The council is also expected to go into executive session for the purpose of deliberation on the future acquisition or sale of real property.
The council will also hear and vote on a resolution regarding potential grant funds.
The council will meet at 8:30 at City Hall. The meeting is open to the public.
