The Russell County Middle School Baseball and Softball teams were in action this weekend.
The Laker Baseball team defeated Clinton County 20-5 on Saturday. Brantley Turner led the Lakers with 2 hits and 5 runs batted in.
The Lady Lakers fell to Northern Middle School by a score of 11-7 and Marion County by a score of 8-4.
Aspen Stearns combined for 3 hits and 5 RBI in the games.
