A Casey County deputy jailer has been charged following an allegation involving a female inmate.
According to an arrest citation, 28-year-old Samuel Chance Phillips of Kings Mountain was working at the Casey County Detention Center on Friday, September 18th, when he allegedly groped the inmate and forced her to perform oral sex on him.
Phillips was arrested Thursday by Kentucky State Police Trooper Ricky Cross.
He is charged with Sodomy 1st Degree and Official Misconduct 1st Degree and was lodged in the Russell County Detention Center.
