A Russell Springs woman was arrested in Cumberland County on charges including assaulting a police officer.
23-year-old Melissa A. Doney was arrested by Kentucky State Police and charged with possession of methamphetamine, possession of drug paraphernalia, resisting arrest, and assault – third degree – police officer or probation officer.
Doney was lodged in the Adair County Regional Jail just before 10:30 last night.
