The Jamestown Fire Department responded to a fire at a residence on Story Lane off the Highway 127 Bypass just a little after 8:00 this morning.
On scene, fire crews encountered a one-story ranch style house belonging to James Garner fully involved with heavy fire throughout.
Members of the Russell Springs Fire Department also responded to assist at the scene. Firefighters brought the fire under control quickly, but the home sustained heavy damage throughout.
No injuries were reported from the blaze. Firefighters were on scene for about two-and-a-half hours.
South Kentucky RECC also assisted at the scene.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
