Russell County’s Jason Davidson was named to the Kentucky Department of Education Teachers Advisory Council.
Davidson, a teacher at Russell County Middle School, is one of five teachers from across the state chosen as new members of the 22-member council.
The council is designed to improve Kentucky’s educational landscape by providing the commissioner of education with direct input from classrooms.
Davidson will serve a three-year term on the council.
