The Russell County Sheriff’s Office made multiple drug-related arrests late Friday night into Saturday morning.
Sheriff Derek Polston said Deputies Devin Blakey and Stone Bolin went to a residence on Robertson Road off North 127 and Owenstown Road Friday night searching for an individual with multiple warrants.
When they arrived at the residence, they were given consent to search. Inside, they allegedly discovered methamphetamine, marijuana, drug paraphernalia, and numerous scales indicating drug trafficking.
The following individuals were arrested:
28-year-old Shantale Kimbler of Jamestown and 42-year-old Larin Stotts of Russell Springs: charged with trafficking in methamphetamine over two grams, possession of drug paraphernalia, and possession of marijuana. Kimbler was also charged with tampering with physical evidence.
58-year-old Scottie Caldwell, 25-year-old Darrell Hollis, and 40-year-old Virginia New, all of Russell Springs: charged with trafficking in methamphetamine under two grams, possession of marijuana, and possession of drug paraphernalia.
The sheriff’s office reports two other arrests made at a local motel in connection with the case.
32-year-old Joe Deason of Columbia and 33-year-old Max Cave of Russell Springs were arrested and charged with possession of methamphetamine.
The seven individuals arrested were lodged in the Russell County Detention Center. The sheriff’s office was assisted by the Russell Springs Police Department and Kentucky State Police, and cases will be presented to a grand jury.
