Progress is continuing on the SEED Academy off French Valley Road.
The Russell County Board of Education approved the purchase of furniture for the new facility at its meeting earlier this week, one of the final steps in getting the building ready for students in August.
Superintendent Michael Ford provided WJRS News more details.
The regional agritech training center features 19,147 square feet of space, including labs, classrooms, an auditorium, and a livestock area. Students will officially begin using the facility next school year.
