Russell County and several other area schools remain closed today due to hazardous road conditions.

Schools in Russell, Adair, Casey, Clinton, Cumberland, Wayne, Metcalfe and Pulaski counties are utilizing NTI or Non-Traditional Instruction today due to road conditions.

Today is NTI Day #6 for Russell County. School districts are granted by statute 10 NTI days per school year.

No decision has yet been announced regarding school tomorrow.
