Russell County dropped a doubleheader to Monroe County Friday night.
The Lady Lakers fell to the Lady Falcons by a score of 67-40.
Aniyah Coffey led Russell County with 24 points. McKenna Ccamaque scored 7 points, Natalie Bartrug scored 5, and Addy Abrell and Carigann Carpenter each added 2 points.
The Lakers fell to the Falcons by a score of 77-68 in the nightcap Friday night. Maddox Shearer led Russell County with 24 points, followed by Dylan Stanelle with 14. Max Davis had 9 points and Cameron Bolin added 8 points.
The Lakers bounced back with a 66-63 win over Corbin on Saturday.
Dylan Stanelle led Russell County with 27 points in the win and was named Player of the Game.
Maddox Shearer scored 18 and Cameron Bolin added 10.
