The 16th District Basketball Tournament brackets have been set.
The Russell County Lady Lakers will play in the 4/5 game against Clinton County on Sunday, February 22 at 3 p.m. The winner will advance to take on the top seed Cumberland County on Monday at 6 p.m. with the girls district championship scheduled for Thursday, the 26th.
The Lakers will also play in the 4/5 game on Sunday, taking on Metcalfe County at 4:30. The winner of that game will advance to take on the top seed Clinton County at 6:00 on Tuesday. The boys district championship is scheduled for Friday, the 27th.
This year’s district tournament is being hosted by Clinton County.
