Over 9,200 cars went through light display at City Park this season

More than 9,200 cars went through the Christmas light display at the Russell Springs City Park this season, according to Russell Springs Mayor Eddie Thomas.

Thomas said the city’s workers did an excellent job with the display and are already setting goals for next season.

Thomas said the turnout for Lights at the Park for the 2025 Christmas season surpassed previous years.

Thomas said the city is looking to add a couple new scenes for when Lights at the Park reopens in November.
