DeVore joins 1,000 point club; Phillips earns Swimmer of the Meet at Debbie Loy Memorial Invitational

The Laker Swim team hosted the Debbie Loy Memorial Invitational at the Russell County Natatorium over the weekend.

The Lakers finished runner-up at the event, and two Laker swimmers earned notable achievements.

Marlei DeVore joined the Laker Swim 1,000 point club and earned a victory in the 200 individual medley.

Jacob Phillips was named Swimmer of the Meet. Phillips won a pair of individual events and swam lead-off in the men’s 200 Free Relay, which set a meet record.
