The Russell County Board of Education approved an increase in prices for outside groups renting the Russell County ANC for events.
Superintendent Michael Ford said the school district has not considered changing rental prices for the facility since 2018 and gave WJRS News a look at some of the changes.
Ford said the increase in prices is due to the cost of having employees at the facility during the event and set-up and clean-up from events, as well as other factors including recommendations from the district’s auditors about donations.
The changes were unanimously approved by the school board.
