Keith Scholl has filed to run for Constable in District 1.
As it stands, Scholl is the only candidate who has filed to run for constable in the 1st District.
Richard “Dick” Kazsuk filed paperwork yesterday to seek another term on the Russell County Board of Education.
Kazsuk currently represents the 4th district on the board of education and is the board chair.
Candidates running for office in the May primary have until January 9 to file their candidate paperwork.
