Russell County split a pair of games at Cumberland County last night in the first district doubleheader of the season.
In the first game, the Lady Lakers fell to the Lady Panthers by a score of 55-47.
McKenna Ccamaque led Russell County with a team-high 18 points on the night and Addy Abrell added 14.
In the nightcap, the Lakers picked up a win over the Panthers by a score of 84-75.
Maddox Shearer led the Lakers with a game-high 23 points, followed by 15 from Dylan Stanelle, 12 from Noah McMillin and Max Davis with 10 points.
The Lakers return home tomorrow to host Pulaski County, and the Lady Lakers are on the road again on Friday, taking on South Warren.
