Laker Bowling has strong showing at Monday Madness in Danville

The Laker Bowling team traveled to Danville on Monday to compete in the Monday Madness tournament at the Danville Bowlarama.

After the 6 Baker games of qualifying, the Lakers were in 8th place out of 13 teams, qualifying for the top 8 bracket.

In the opening round, the Lakers upset the #1 seed Harrison County 155-147 and 159-139 to advance to the top 4.

The Lakers took on the #4 seed Boyle County in the second round. The Rebels came out strong, defeating the Lakers 215-159 and 157- 132.

The Lakers finished the day with an impressive 4th place finish in the 13-team field. The Lakers next match will be against Metcalfe County at Ralphie’s Fun Center on December 2 at 4:30 p.m.
