Three Russell County Youth Baseball teams won their respective Cal Ripken State Tournaments over the weekend.
Russell County’s 12U Majors, 10U Minors, and 8U Coach Pitch teams won the Western Kentucky Cal Ripken championships.
The 12U team defeated Franklin-Simpson 12-1 yesterday to claim the title.
The 10U team defeated Scottsville 12-2 and Elizabethtown 11-1 yesterday to win their championship.
The 8U squad defeated Mount Washington 13-0 to claim the championship.
Russell County’s 11U team reached the finals, the 9U team reached the semifinals, and 7U reached the quarterfinals.
