Smith receives top honor in national cattle judging contest

Russell County’s Blane Smith recently received first place in a cattle judging competition at the National Junior Angus Show.

Smith took first place in the Intermediate B Division of the cattle judging competition for 16-17 year olds at the angus show in Tulsa, Oklahoma.

Blane is the son of Bryan and Melissa Smith of Russell Springs.
