The Russell Springs Fire Department has been busy the last few months, with 97 runs reported between April 1, 2025 and July 9, 2025.
The fire department reported 36 runs last month requiring service.
Russell Springs Fire Chief Bobby Johnson reported the fire department has responded to 250 calls for service this calendar year.
Fire department calls are up from last year. Midway through 2024, the fire department had responded to just over 200 calls.
