The City of Russell Springs is currently working on a project aimed at improving the softball field at the old Russell Springs Elementary School, known as the Charlene Harris Educational Center or the Somerset Community College Russell Center.
Russell Springs Mayor Eddie Thomas gave WJRS News some details about what the project includes and said he’s excited for the city to provide an improved experience for Russell County’s youth softball players.
The improvements being made are similar to recent improvements the city made at the Russell Springs City Park.
