The Kentucky Brotherhood Ride, which takes place each year in remembrance of first responders who died while in the line of duty, will make its final stop in Russell County.
The ride gets underway Wednesday, with cyclists making their way across the state beginning in Elliot County and concluding the ride in Russell County on Saturday.
Riders will stop at Russell County Middle School at around 3 p.m. for an honor stop in memory of fallen Russell County Sheriff’s Deputy Joshua Phipps, who was killed in the line of duty last September.
Riders will enter Russell County from Adair County via Highway 80, then onto Jamestown Street and Lakeway Drive before turning onto Highway 127 toward Russell County Middle School.
The public is invited to the honor stop on Saturday.
