County officials are encouraging residents to make sure their numeric address is easily visible from the road.
Russell County 911 Mapping Coordinator Ashley Coffey said having an easily visible marker is important if first responders are called to your address.
The address marker can be numbers on the side of a resident’s mailbox or a sign placed near the driveway.
